About Mensho
Mensho is a ramen in Houston, Texas. It is listed at 9889 Bellaire Blvd Ste C308, Houston, TX 77036, which places it among the local businesses of Houston that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Google also lists it under authentic japanese restaurant, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.
Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Houston, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Texas run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11:30 amβ2 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (713) 485-6959. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, mensho.com.
Customers rate it 4.8 out of 5 on Google across 3,333 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded ramen in Houston.
Houston is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Traffic in Houston peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

First time coming here and it did not disappoint! The food was amazing! We ordered the classic ramen and added black garlic oil for more flavor. It was seriously one of the best ramen Iβve ever had, and took me back to the streets of Tokyo with every spoonful of the broth. We also had the Aji mackerel which was crispy on the outside and moist delicate fish inside. A squeeze of lemon elevated the dish altogether. We also had a small bowl of unagi rice and that was good too! The sauce and scrambled eggs were a great combo. Lastly, we had the oyster mushroom tempura. It was nothing like Iβve ever tasted before. The batter was perfectly thin and crispy which complemented the chewy mushroom inside. Dipped in a little bit of matcha salt and it made for a nice flavor bomb in my mouth. Definitely recommend, I canβt wait to go back to try all the other items on the menu!

We came here early on a weekend morning before they opened and within minutes there was a line outside the door - so recommend you come early to snag a table! Interior is small, well decorated but difficult to get a table for a large group. We tried a variety of ramen dishes including the Signature, Classic, and Vegan Yuzu Shio / Spicy. We loved each bite - the broth had so much flavor and the meats were tender and tasty. Definitely worth the wait for a taste!

This was hands down the best ramen I've ever had! It was so creamy and rich. Usually after one bowl of ramen I feel like I need more but not with this. I was very satisfied. I had the signature bowl along with the wagyu meat & rice appetizer. The service was fantastic and the food came out very quickly. The only thing I wish was different was a bigger space. We were on a double date with some friends and sat at the bar the good news is we didn't do much talking because the food was so great! Thank you again for the delicious meal and we will definitely be coming back!

Everything about this place was great! There was a bit of a wait due to the intimate setting, but it was absolutely worth it. We tried the wings (I canβt recall the exact name), the Unagi, Enoki Chips, and the GKO Ramen with chicken substituted in place of the standard protein. Every dish was delicious and full of flavor. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was cozy, and the food definitely lived up to the hype. Weβll definitely be back!

Best ramen I've ever had! I keep coming back to try new dishes and I am satisfied every single time. They have great options to choose from. My favorites are the lamb ramen, duck ramen, and the spicy chicken ramen. The flavors are top notch! Sometimes there is a line outside but it moves fast. The food is worth the wait! You will not be disappointed. Also, the servers are pretty great. Great customer service and delicious food makes this place worth trying!
